FW: Room 18's Korowai

Room 18’s Korowai

Room 18 has had a very busy three weeks getting to know each other and establishing routines in our class.
Together we have created our class treaty and formed a class korowai (cloak).
First we decorated the feathers at the top of the korowai. We then read the book The Tree Hut Treaty and brainstormed all the ways in which our classroom could be made a positive and healthy learning environment for everyone.
When we finished we all agreed to which statements were to go on our Korowai and made feathers where we signed our name on them.

Our korowai is like a protective cloak over our classroom making everyone feel safe and secure.
